St. Joseph's College has a very long history. Our school's North Block is a declared monument, which means it is a very important historical building in Hong Kong. It has beautiful arches and a clock tower that has seen generations of Josephians grow. We call our school spirit the 'Green and White Spirit'. It is not just about winning; it's about trying your best, being fair, and standing together with your schoolmates as a family.

Question: The passage talks about the "Green and White Spirit". In your primary school life, you've won many awards like the 4x100m relay championship. Can you share a story that shows your "Green and White Spirit"?

Model Answer: "Thank you. In my primary school, I was part of the 4x100m relay team and we won the championship. I think this experience really showed me the 'Green and White Spirit'. In the final race, our second runner almost dropped the baton. For a second, we thought we would lose. But we didn't blame him. Instead, the next runner and I shouted 'It's okay, keep going!'. We all ran our best for the team. When we won, we didn't just celebrate for ourselves, we celebrated as a team. We learned that trusting and supporting our teammates, especially when things go wrong, is more important than just winning. To me, that is the spirit of family and fairness mentioned in the passage."

為何會這樣問：小組討論是評估你溝通、協作、領導和解難能力的重要環節。面試官不只關心你提出了多麼「驚天動地」的點子，他們更在觀察：你是否懂得聆聽別人的意見？你是否能尊重隊友並建立在他們的想法之上？你是否能在討論陷入僵局時提出建議？這個題目結合了學校的新設施（球場）和核心價值（服務精神），非常實際，能看出你是否能成為一個有建設性的團隊成員。
策略：切忌只顧自己發言。要做一個好的聆聽者，可以用「I agree with your point, and I would like to add that...」這樣的句式來回應隊友。嘗試擔當不同的角色：可以是提出創意點子的「創作者」，也可以是總結大家意見的「總結者」，或是鼓勵害羞隊友發言的「促進者」。提出的活動要具體，並時刻扣緊「Men for and with Others」這個主題。

Model Contribution: "(Listen to others first, then say) That's a great idea to have a football competition. To build on that and add the 'Men for and with Others' spirit, maybe we can call it the 'Wah Yan Unity Cup'. Instead of normal teams, we could mix students from different forms, so senior students can mentor and help junior students. For the rules, maybe we can add a special rule: every goal must be scored after at least three different players from the team have touched the ball. This encourages teamwork, not just individual skill. And for the 'with others' part, the winning teams don't get a trophy for themselves, but win the right to donate a set of new footballs to a local primary school. This way, we play together, and we serve the community together."
